It’s good to Know, Learn and Remind ourselves of the following:

  • That you deserve to take time out of your week to nurture yourself with exercise

  • That you don’t have to exercise for someone else, but rather that you can choose to exercise because you care about yourself and your wellbeing

  • That you never have to compare your physical abilities to anyone else’s, since you were created a certain way or sustained certain injuries, that are beyond your control
  • That you are never inferior to anyone else, that you are doing the best that you can and that the only one to compare yourself to, is yourself and whether you are still trying
  • That Anxiety and Depression are improved with regular exercise
  • That the body releases natural pain-relieving chemicals called endorphins when we exercise, thereby reducing the severity of pain
  • That back or neck pain episodes are reduced with proper exercise
  • What types of exercises you like to do
  • Choose to exercise in the Environment that makes you happy, joyful and free of self-consciousness
  • Which exercises you can safely do
  • How to exercise in good form-in a controlled, progressive manner
  • How to safely progress to the next level and at the right time without injury
  • What settings make you feel most comfortable when you exercise (group or solitary)
  • How to be Mindful and to Breath properly when exercising
